All of this in 50+ episodes/I think over a 100 chapters is still more than what we got from sakura’s “character.” I understand shonen is about fighting but character building is also important.

Ichigo throwing Rukia to Renji will always be one of the funniest scenes ever 😂 Also Captain Komamura is a wolf.

2023-06-29 07:00:02 +0000 UTCRegarding the Rukia/Sakura comparison, I get that it’s frustrating to not see her fight and I didn’t like that she lost her powers in episode 1 and still didn’t have them back by episode 54 either, but I do feel like Sakura had way bigger issues than just not fighting. Her entire character revolves around being obsessed with a guy who treats her badly to the point where even her backstory was about breaking a friendship over him. Rukia doesn’t have anything nearly as annoying, and her backstory through Renji’s flashbacks and her own episodes is about being a street orphan and having to kill someone she cared about, it actually explains why she’s so ready to give up on life. She’s just had it rough.

Episode 54 is when you were supposed to start watching the after-credits scenes! 😭 I mean, it's not the end of the world, but we'd all love to see you react to those shorts; especially because some of them are adjacent to the actual plot. Just let the ending play (endings aren't spoilery), then look away during the preview (the characters have fun banter and don't spoil anything), then look back as Kon introduces the segment. Again, you don't have to...but it'd be really fun if you did. 👍🏼

It’s like the darkness of the ocean or being on a boat at night. you don’t have to be afraid of the dark. It’s not that the mangaka forget to delve into them bleach is written in a way where things about characters are hinted at and revealed later you don’t always get the answer then and there. Rukia is saying Byakuya staying calm made her calm if he was panicking she would panic. His calmness in this situation made her not fear death. They also didn’t explain the shield because she said Shihouin which is Yoruichi’s last name so that gives you an idea on how he got it.

The last ending before this one had 13 different version that show cased character dynamics between the squads and is actually really good for getting a feel of this world that obviously exists but we don't get to see because of the plot. You should watch a complication of it at some point. Also the golden book specials at the end of the episodes for the same reason, they are similar to how HxH had those segments at the end of its.
