2023-06-13 12:01:37 +0000 UTCI think what made the previous season seem more dangerous is the fact that Gyuutaro is stronger than we think, he was being held back by Daki, and alone he would be closer to top 4 or 5. Adding to that, Mitsuri and Muichiro are much stronger than Tengen (one of the weakest Hashira), so it makes sense for Tengen to struggle a lot more than they did. Add to that the fact that Tanjiro and Nezuko have also improved.

2023-06-13 00:29:16 +0000 UTCHonestly kinda glad Mitsuri didn't have some gruesome demon murder backstory. Suraj hit one of the key points to remember. It's very easy for anyone now to think "who's saying no to Mitsuri", but Japan still very much is generally a "tow the line" kind of society. It's only within maybe the last generation or so that more "progressive" ideas of beauty and morality take root. Really Pre WW2 Mitsuri likely would have been considered freakisly ugly.

2023-06-12 22:29:27 +0000 UTCNext week's Demon Slayer episode is about an hour long. Be ready. Edit: You will see more "layers" in future seasons. Story-wise, Demon Slayer is almost over. We're probably about 60-65% of the way done. The show at most has about 2-3 seasons left. I've forgotten 90% of what happens so it kinda feels like I'm an anime only viewer. However, from the few things that I do remember, I can easily say the best has yet to come.

It's hard out here for Women, no matter how you feel, and it's touching to see someone, man or woman, feel the need to lie about who they are in order to be accepted by the world around them. Her basically begging for a way out of the lies and that feeling of never belonging is what hit me.
