It is also because there is too many episodes to cover since the anime has already reached season 17 & still going since it 1st aired on 2004.

What you need to realize is that a lot of complaints people have about the dub simply stems from the fact that, when you don't understand the language, silly things can sound "cool" to your ears, when in reality, Japanese people (especially non-anime fan Japanese people) think the things that anime characters exclaim in Japanese are just as silly as Americans think they sound in English.

Also like most teen shows, it has an issue with some cast members getting more popular and getting lot of outside work, and show runners scrambling to rework the show around their cast other commitments. Euphoria had less of issue because they’ve for the most part planned it to work around Zandaya’s other projects.
