The banned episodes of Sunny are honestly a lot more self aware and less tone def than the trans stuff they did. Carmen at times is the butt of the joke which comes off as gross, but in the banned episodes the characters are the butt of the joke for being ignorant on race issues. Streaming services responded to BLM by banning these episodes without taking their context into account.

Commenting specifically for bleach (non-spoiler), hopefully u guys read this so u can get a bit of clarity on the world building. Again no spoilers here. Just explaining stuff that are not clear. 1) The Squad numbers are not rank by strength. If not for sure the healing squad will be last which is 13 instead of 4. So captain of squad 2 is not the 2nd strongest. Maybe the only exception is squad 1 where old man yama is most likely the strongest. 2) Each squad is basically consist of seat officers starting from 1st Seat (captain), 2nd seat (lieutenant) 3rd seat and so on until 20th seat and bellow that roughly about 200 squat members without rank (basically foot soldier). The best example that you guys have already known are Squad 11: Captain (Kenny), Lieutenant (Yachiru, the small girl with pink hair), 3rd Seat (Ikkaku, the bald dude ichigo fought) & 5th seat (Yumichika, the pretty guy with ikkaku). 3) The 13 Squad is basically like a soldier units protecting the soul society but some squad have other tasks as their job aside from protecting soul society. Best example is squad 4, who in charge of healing. The are some other squad with specific tasks like squad 2, 9 & 12 but you guys haven’t seen it yet. 4) Some souls are born in soul society, which is the 4 noble family. 1 noble family you guys definitely know is the Kuchiki family. Most souls are normal souls that came from world of living. 5) Soul society is not heaven. Basically the souls reside here in afterlife before they being reborn in real world. Basically it’s a cycle: human die > become soul or hollow > sent to society > reborn again The number of souls in soul society and real world are roughly the same, control by shinigami to certain extent. So we can say about 7 billion souls in soul society. 4) Hence why the shinigami are called the balancers because they balance the souls of the both worlds. To keep the world intact or safe or some shit from happening. Shinigami purify hollow (so the soul can go to soul society) and guide wandering soul through konsou. That’s why shinigami are in dispute with quicy. 5) Quincy outright killed a hollow meaning the hollow’s soul are not going to soul society and this will break the soul cycle. This will make the world imbalance and will be the end of world in a sense. 6) There are 80 area in soul society, which the bigger number is the worst area. Souls came to soul society will be send to one of this area seemingly at random. Maybe because there are to many souls. It’s just your bad luck if you were sent to bad area. 7) Most souls will never feel hungry and the can survive just by water. But they can still taste food. If you feeling hungry, that is a sign that have spiritual power. Means you can become a shinigami then have a better life. 8) Ichigo zanpakutou is already in release state. He release it when he call out Zangetsu’s name the first time at Uruhara place and it stayed release until now. Dunno why it’s like that. Maybe because ichigo dont know how to seal it back. 9) When Renji says that he is 5 time stronger when he fight ichigo is because when Captains and Lieutenant go to world of living, soul society will restrict 80% of their power to make sure their enormous spritual pressure didnt disrupt the living world. Only for Captains & Lieutenants, other shinigami like Rukia don’t have this restriction. Ichigo who is not a shinigami not associated with soul society also are NOT restricted. That’s all for today. You guys should 1000% hold off on watching Ahsoka till you finish Rebels. Every bit of information we have gotten about this show, tells us it is picking up where season 4 of Rebels of left off. So if you do go ahead and watch it is going to spoil how Rebels ends and kinda take some of the fun out of watching y'alls reactions. And I know there's the argument of you've seen so much already out of order what's one more thing. But I really do think you would doing a grave disservice to yourselves and us if you did go into without seeing all of Rebels. If the multiple a week thing doesn't work, just wait. You guys already made an announcement about how'd you'd be pulling back from live shows you cover. Just hold off for a bit.

didnt know any episode was banned lol. they are all the same to me. like its SUNNY, you know what you are getting into with the show and those episodes are no different in my eyes. went to google search and i was shocked the ones they picked. one i can kinda see but i cant for spoiler reasons say what it is but i will say this: hypocrisy. cause a very famous actor did it and everyone defends him "its for a movie its not the actor doing it" but of course they cant keep that same energy for other cases that are LITERALLY the same. i could never. but whatevs. i guess we will see in a year or so cause the first banned episode isnt til season 4.

uhm actually, when these characters were created marvel comics didnt exist. marvel comics didnt come until 1962/61, fawcett, dc, atlas, timely AND MORE were the big names during the golden age of comics (before the 60s). in fact, Timely comics renamed themselves to marvel and bought characters from charelston and atlas comics, giving us the marvel comics we know today. so it wasnt any kind of rivalry or shade being thrown, they just liked the name captain marvel so they used it. billy cant say the word "shazam" cause every time he does he changes so using the shazam as a code name makes no sense and wouldnt work. he would arrive in his hero form and say "no worry, i shazam, am here to save the day" and bam! he's a 12 year old kid. legally they cant use the name captain marvel anymore but how the power works he and his siblings never refer to themselves as "shazam" only the heroes in the know do.

Episode 33 of "BLEACH" is technically still based on the manga. There are side chapters that Kubo included to show what the minor characters were getting up to during the main plots elsewhere. They obviously embellished them for the anime, but it's not like they're made up from nothing.
