God you guys are so stupid, can you REALLY not imagine connors pain, don't go by just what you've seen, you've not seen 20 years of his life. Imagine hell raiser, when he says "you let him get me" hes bitter that he never to have his whole life, the best years of his life, his whole life was literally just the greatest hell ever. He came there wearing demon skins, what do you think they ate? Look at how holtz looked after he got back, connor only looked physically pristine because he's superhuman. And with the cordy shit like "oohhh its weird cause it's like his mom" bro......these social constructs are nothing hes ever experienced, hes not watched tv, or surfed the internet his whole life, he literally never even knew what a mother was as a concept until he got to earth and was told he had one. Think outside your own limited box for once, you seen angel locked at the bottom of the ocean for 3 months like one of them ost horrific things ever, times it by 100 and make that 20 years. And all that suffering right from the root, the core of when he was a child, suffering and pain and viciousness and brutality is literally what he is. How could he ever be anything different? A couple of nice talks are never gonna fix all that, ever, it'd take decades of overwhelming love and joy to counteract all that darkness and it's telling none of you have ever been through any real despair in your whole life. God you're all such simpletons.

It's funny how you guys'll act like buffy's attempted rape was the greatest evil in the show, a few moments of something that didn't even. But connor can get no slack for spending like 20 YEARS in the WORST hell dimension, suffering some of the worst horrors imaginable, mostly likely including multiple attempted and successful rapes upon him and much worse by demons. You guys wouldn't know morality if it staked you in the heart, and he's tougher than all you will ever be combine, you can say hes creepy or evil or hatable or whatever, but he sure as shit ain't weak. If you all talked this shit to him IRL he'd take your heads off and you know it. Also that faith shit asking if he was a murderer, he was gonna kill the first guy that fucked with him when he got there, faiths killed a couple people. Connor most likely been murdering since he's a single digit child, did the writer consider this shit at all?

I think Buffy season 4 has probably the highest amount of really strong episodes, but the season storyline left something to be desired in execution. I think thematically it made sense and worked decently, but everything with XXXXXXXXXXx was under cooked.

I'm part of a minority that really enjoyed S4 of Buffy, maybe because I was in university at the time I watched it. No spoilers, but AFAICR it's S1 of Angel that has the most crossover with Buffy, maybe the editors could put only the "crossover" episodes on YouTube (you'll know them when you get to them).

I was a little worried about Angel being uncut-only because I'm usually too lazy to keep syncing up footage manually, but I really like how they split the difference on this one. The reference footage is so blurry and quiet that no sane person would consider it a copyright violation, but it's enough reference to follow along if you've already seen the episode before.

The "problems can't be solved in 30 minutes" is a great line. Also Rana would have gone crazy at Captain Cold/ Leonard Snart being in this episode. She would have recognized him from Flash or Legends of Tomorrow I think. Mickey was correct as well, the laser helmet guy recognized Superboy because he beat the crap out of laser helmet guy like 5 episodes ago.

The girl who played Tina was also in 24 Season 2, and died there too lol. the vote about Angel was actually pretty close, so of course there are going to be a lot of people who voted for regular reactions upset about it. it was barely a majority. but still great reaction. for now, I don't mind the uncuts even though I voted for the other way, but definitely looking forward to more discussions as Angel gets into really deep themes.

I would strongly encourage The Normies to invest in the original 4:3 standard def edition of Buffy, either by DVD or any... ahem alternative methods available to them. The later seasons have two different 16:9 versions and one 4:3. The original airing/American DVDs, an HD remaster, and an SD Euro version, which I believe is/was the one shown on Hulu. The HD remaster is famously terrible and the Euro version isn't much better. They both mess with the viewing experience.

Just finished the Buffy 4x1 & Angel 1x1 "Thursday THROWDOWN". I am a very Happy Lady! Super Great Reactions, I had to replay that Angel reaction over a few times.. Marketta was missed terribly. I always go to Marketta & Rana 1st. If they are crying, I am crying too.. we cry together! This 1st season of Angel, sooo many seeds are planted. And a ton of things happen. For those wondering, Angel Ep 5&6 is currently still on Twitch, and have a small discussion after each episode (not the usual long edited reaction discussions, but a couple of mins of talk / interaction with Twitch chat). Tbh, there is not much to talk about in the early episodes of Angel, so it is a good test bed to try and figure a plan to use going forward. Although, as the show evolves it does start using darker themes and subject matter, so there will be a need for bigger discussions at some point imo. But I trust the Normies to organically know when an episode should be talked about a little bit more

Fun fact: Riley (Marc Blucas) was a D1 basketball player. He played at Wake Forest (and actually did play, wasn't just some dude sitting at the end of the bench as a glorified team manager or anything). Also: Pedro Pascal was recently asked about working on Buffy and what he remembered about it, and he raved about what a kind person Sarah Michelle Gellar was and how welcoming she was to him, gave him ice cream, etc, and just seemed so genuinely appreciative of an established star like her being so nice to him when he was just starting out.

Something Blue, Fear Itself, Hush, Restless, Superstar, This Year's Girl, A New Man, and Wild at Heart are all fantastic. I even really enjoy Beer Bad.

I think Buffy season 4 has probably the highest amount of really strong episodes, but the season storyline left something to be desired in execution. I think thematically it made sense and worked decently, but everything with XXXXXXXXXXx was under cooked.

Moving forward, we will be including these as well!

Great to have Buffy & Angel uncuts but it’s a shame you can’t have 5-10 mins post Angel to give brief thoughts. I get you aren’t editing for YT videos, but it’d be nice to have a brief bit of what you think.

As long as they watch in the correct order, esp for later crossover stuff, im fine. not every early case of the week episode justifies an uncut viewing but w/e, its a cute rewatch

I'm gonna stop watching the Buffy reactions. I was excited to see them do both and see some of the cool crossover moments. But watching an uncut with no discussion ain't worth it and watching Buffy without Angel is half a story. Who would vote for this??

Unfortunately we don’t have room in the schedule or find it viable for an editor to do highlight reactions for Angel. We could possibly change this in the future, but for now this is the route we’re taking. Hopefully with the blurry uncuts you can skim around to the parts you want to see.

We can do this in the future beyond episode 6 as we have already filmed up to there!

Its not a real college but its supposed to be on the level of a state college, not a community college and often the require you to stay in the dorms the first year.

one COMMUNITY college does not a college town make........never got why buffy had to move out other than for plot reasons. they are not rich and its a small town so she obviously could commute everyday like she did in this ep. bus rides = study and homework time

so they said they watch 3 episodes in a sitting, i think it might be per week( but not confirmed), if it started 10 weeks ago, they should be on 30 -33. Thats S2 ish. Of course they have been reacting to other stuff to so they probably might be using it as a buffer.

There definitely have had longer discussions for the later episodes they've watched (they just watched 1x5 and 1x6) but not as long as the Buffy ones. I don't know if they'll be added to the uncuts though.
