hello!

oh man, this summer has just started and we've seen so many great kpop releases already (Aespa, Nayeon, NewJeans, and now Red Velvet...life is good). they've been absolutely sustaining me throughout this past week of recovery and naturally I want to draw them all. I've been getting back into the swing of things and started with this adorable fit from Nayeon's ABCD that is incredibly reminiscent of tommy february6. I loved Tomoko Kawase's music and fashion style as a teenager and it's been really fun seeing her influence reimagined in modern sensibilities.

newjeans's 2nd anniversary since debut (7/22/22) is coming up and I'd really like to make something to celebrate! their music and group dynamic has been a massive source of inspiration for me and it's really cool to see how they've continued to evolve! I think it'd be fun to make stickers inspired by their looks from New Jeans, so I gotta get crackin' on that if I want to finish in time. xD
