welcome back to another sketchdump! I hope you're doing well today~ ( ´͈ ॢꇴ `͈ॢ)･*♡ as the title says I've got lotsa cuties to share with you in this post! whether they're lighthearted and fluffy or bold and intense, drawing cuties always brightens my day and I hope they do the same for you!
above: I busted out my acrylic paints over the weekend to experiment with a different medium and who do I draw other than the one and only. I haven't worked with paints in so long but it's gotta be said. physically pushing around paint on a canvas and waiting for paint to dry is what makes traditional art so special. there's a slightly meditative nature to it as opposed to digital art that is personally typically characterized by frantic button pressing and trying to do everything is quickly as possible.
Lum from Urusei Yatsura! I haven't actually read the series yet but her chara design is so iconic and cute

technic angel from virtual self! I LOVE this musician (so much I saw them live earlier this year). this side project of porter's really hits my nostalgia just right. I grew up in the same era as him (early 2000s) when the internet was just starting to take hold in mainstream use and there was so much experimentation taking place. he references old final fantasy, rhythm games, and art forums as some of his inspiration for this project and all of that resonates with me and my childhood in an unshakeable way.

ahhhh that d.va!!! the absolute sweetest i love how the piece feels like its glowing (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) your traditional pieces just have this extra lil loving feeling to it they're always a joy to see!! and i'm always glad to see some sombra love (-3-) no matter what she's always one of my top go top character to play, so heckin fun!! and porter ahh ive not been keeping up with music recently but i'll need to check out the side project, i've loved his work so much and this spooky cutie just makes me even more eager!! as usual i love love how you create neon glowing colors, absolute artistic magic!! and the blessed wooloo ayy i'm so glad to see them everywhere now, i can't wait to see them even more when it's game time! for requests maybe short haired zelda? the trailer got me so excited and I'm especially excited about the twilight vibes i feel from it!!
