I'm so excited to share this month's pieces with you because I got to work with one of my all-time favorite colors, pastel pink! I was really in the mood to draw flowers and felt like something light and springy would go well with this time of the year. :D I wanted these pieces to feel very clean, like a breath of fresh air~ $10 patrons, I'm mailing out your April rewards next Friday May 18 <3.

Above: The postcard piece for May! ^o^ I focused on giving her a soft and fluffy look and wanted the colors to elevate that feeling. Using fresh greens, soft pinks, and white helped shape the image I had in my head of a lovely vase filled with just-trimmed flowers and leaves. Adding a bunch of ruffles and volume does't hurt either. ;D

I carried the flower theme into the sticker as well and added a bit of an edge to balance out the sweetness. There's something delicious about the way blue and pink plays together and I used the softness of those tints to round out the contrast of the white lingerie. This is the first time I've made a painted style (non-lineart) sticker so I'm really excited to see how it turns out. *u*
