Happy Friday and thanks so much for joining me for a part of your day! ^-^ I apologize that this post is a bit late. I've attached August's rewards at the end of this post (lots of process photos and some spiffy wallpapers). Just download the zip file to see it all! :3
I look back on August with a feeling of content and I'm happy with the subjects I've chosen to draw. Since then my ideas have only become more focused and closer to what I want to draw. It sounds counterintuitive, but for the longest time I would draw things I didn't want to draw. To better put it I drew things that I thought I should draw, but I usually felt disappointed in them because they didn't really reflect what I felt on the inside. I'm sure we all have something like that in our lives, something that we do even if it doesn't really make us happy. I don't have an explanation for this behavior, but I am slowly unlearning it and each new drawing I make feels more genuine. ☆ﾐ ✿

August for me held a similar message - to finally drop those ideas of how and what I need to draw and paint, and reconnect with my true desires. It's so exciting!
