Added 2016-09-13 12:01:55 +0000 UTCThe picture finished at least :) This is Shalon, the chlaena, preparing to exit her lair in the underwater city of Ryzelm’oire and to start her day. I wanted to give the feeling of a busy underwater city with a ton of little spaces and crevices everywhere where creatures of various sizes can slip into ^^ I also played a bit with the strong back-lighting to put more emphasis on the depth of vision field :3

Zoekin wonders if Aleski his Estaurine mermaid has visited here. Being so tiny, she'd be hard to spot.

All the small details on the mermaids and the sea fauna and floa make the scene look like now it's been taken place in a real city. The angle give the place a great sense of scale as well. It's nice to get a glimpse of the city :)

Ryzelm’oire is a really fascinating location, and I love how you've brought the city to life will all those numerous little details everywhere. And of course Shalon herself looks really quite wonderful, especially the way her hair is all floaty, and how generally squishy her lower half looks exiting that hole. :D
