Sleeping mermaid

It was suggested by both Moosey and Azurejass :)
They wanted to see an underwater drawing showing up a lot of the underwater fauna and flora. It's a theme I wanted to try for a while now so I had a lot of fun with it and creating a very intricate environment and imagining some of the fishes living there ^^
That Lion fish design for the mermaid was also fun to do XP in the future I'm really going to try to give more unique designs to characters I draw ;3

Thank you ;P Yes its the impression I wanted to give , to have her looks content, relaxed and satisfied ( probably after a good meal ), but in the same time her somewhat rough appearance hints at something more savage ^^

She's so adorable here sleeping away with that cute little fang showing . . . but also give the impression she could be quite fierce if the need arises. Not to mention her markings and coloration are really quite gorgeous, if I do say so myself. :D I also really adore the details and beauty of the underwater landscape, with those exotic mermaids in the background . . . plus that little one swimming boldly around the sleeping lion(fish)'s tail.
