A clarification on tier changes

tl;dr: if you're still subscribed to First Bl8d or There Will Be Bl8d, either unsubscribe or confirm to me that you are aware that continued payment comes with no benefits. If I don't get 100% confirmation, the tiers will have to be deleted.

Hi all! I think I've done a fairly thorough job getting the word out about closing the two higher tiers and leaving only the Bl8d Simple tip jar tier. That one comes with no promised benefits beyond a small discount on commissions, but may see one or two low-impact perks added in the future.

There is still a sizeable number of supporters who have not canceled their higher-tier subscriptions yet, and this is addressed to them. I imagine the majority of you either have plans to and just haven't yet, or perhaps don't mind supporting with the extra cash (thanks especially to you if so) in spite of the discontinued perks.

Unfortunately, I can't assume that every subscriber has been following these updates. There may still be subscribers expecting posts. I want to eliminate any ambiguity here, so before the end of this month on Mar 28, I intend to delete the discontinued tiers. This will leave subscribers in the "No Tier" category according to Patreon's documentation, but will not cut off subscription payments. Billing at the tier rate will continue until the supporter takes action, so deleting the tiers is simply my way of making it very clear that benefits are discontinued. If people choose to remain subscribed in that No Tier status for some reason, I'll consider them as qualified for any potential future perks of the Bl8d Simple tier.

If for some reason you don't want these tiers deleted, I will need confirmation from everyone remaining in them that you are aware of the benefits being discontinued. In a week's time I'll DM anyone who has not confirmed. If after all of that I still don't have 100% acknowledgment from active subscribers, then I'll have to proceed with deletion. The biggest benefit of leaving the tiers undeleted is unfettered access to back posts for legacy subscribers, but I will probably unlock back posts by individual request either way.
