From feedback and experience so far, I suggest trying to access Patreon not by app but by browser (e.g. firefox) after clearing the cache. That usually should do the trick. I hope it'll work out.

I was thinking the same about the dark in the gallery, how can he be so calm if he's practically in the dark? Perhaps being with Joris reassures him? it's someone he knows and with whom he feels comfortable. Yes you're right about the medication, his nights must be difficult and his judgement clouded. Interesting. For the Uncle specifically, this feels confusing to me. It’s public knowledge the police chief has a nephew, the Uncle used to bring him to the police station. Officer Bob mentioned that in chapter 8. So, if Black Death ever wanted to have something on the Uncle, they could have taken the Boy at any time. Why would they do that now? For Tera, it’s possible they’d use the Boy to keep him in line, but I feel that’s an odd path to take. It wouldn’t encourage loyalty. That would just make Tera want to fight them all the more. A member fighting your orders is a poor one. Black Death demands you prove your "courage and devotion" to them as Joris said in chapter 1. They want people who believe in their cause. I feel, anyway. I think they would simply kill Tera and the Boy instead if they knew he was betraying them. Why waste time with abductions and threats? I could see them viewing this as a trespass they must punish with death because "honor" demands it. After all, Tera said "honor is paramount" in chapter 9.

I thought of something, if the black death ends up catching the boy, I figure they wouldn't killed him, but using him as bait to put tera in his place again and plus the boy being under a witness protection and the nephew of a police chief, another using the boy to let the police know not to mess with them anymore.

This chapter is definitely a sad one for the boy... Nobody has wished him his birthday, either the people who could wish him (like his grandmother) aren't there, or they don't think about it (like the uncle), or it seems they don't know (like Joris). But he's always cheerful in front of people, he doesn't let anything show. I like the fun parts of these pages : the chalk thrown in because he's looking at his phone in class, the X-ray with the comment about the spine, the commentary on the painting when he can't see anything. It brings a lightness that's pleasant ☺️ I like the dynamic between Joris and the Boy, even though I have the feeling that Joris might sacrifice the boy to be able to join black death. I wonder where this gallery thing will lead to, I hope to a little surprise for the Boy with Tera ! It would be great if they could be reunitade for the next month update ! 🥳 Would make sense to bring the paint in the art gallery ☺️ but I have no idea how Tera or Joris would have known for the Boy's birthday... Or maybe thanks to Snapchat ! By the way, I love the black outfit of the Boy, it suits him well ! he looks like a little Black Death member, I think it kinda match Tera's style 😁 and the cat ears are so cute ! „You could run into a member of Black Death“… uhm… yeah, well… not exactly the point to worry about, since one prominent member of said gang is actually frequenting through your apartment window more often than not. Technically, that doesn’t count as “running into”, right? I really hope Tera will see the Boy in this outfit, especially with the cat ears! That needs to happen! But all jokes aside – upon reading I couldn’t help but instantly planning a birthday party for the Boy (you're all invited!). He deserves much more than the occasional frown and scold because of his fashion sense and the guts to pull it off. (He looks incredible and I always enjoy those dress up scenes, since dressing up makes him happy!). The focus on his face is awesome and it looks really good. Very expressive (damn that hurts) and well proportioned (sorry, don’t know how to describe it better. I just think he’s drawn very well and “fitting”). Says a lot that the Boy was turning to Mr. Gaston… Tera is still not in the line of people the Boy would reach out to – not even Jo is, since he was the one contacting the Boy and not vice versa, even though the Boy must be disappointed and hurt… maybe even feeling lonely, though I bet he is still rationalizing that his uncle currently must be working like a dog with all those Black Death- related cases. Breaking and entering, bank robbery, murder, blackmail, arson… not even counting the bloody mess in the parking garage. At least the Boy doesn’t seem to be concerned about the whole “turf-war”- thing and Tera’s wellbeing. “Gangs settling scores” doesn’t sound like a friendly soccer-match but rather violent and just another occasion on which Tera might need to get patched up afterwards – “I bet he deserves it” – although the Boy and Tera made a lot of progress since that statement. I wonder what Jo is up to. Whatever it is… can’t be good for the boy, since he’s only a means to an end for Jo and his agenda to get into Black Death – or rather, get Kain to acknowledge him and speak to him again. Jo has been warned by Tera to stay clear of the Boy… but this time he actively reached out to the Boy to drag him along. Yeah. I’m worried – and curious. Very curious. Come to think of it and how... scared Jo is of what Black Death is capable of...: Tera bought paint. Jo actively reached out to the boy… they are in a gallery, which can’t be hording that much priceless treasures, without cameras, alarm systems and guards… and Tera really might know the date of the Boy’s birthday… Wait… is there a birthday surprise waiting?! I can totally picture Tera planning all this and using Jo to make it happen... even if it's coincidence and not even birthday related... after all that Tera learned about the Boy and their last encounter, I can see him doing something for the Boy. Dunno. Wishful thinking?! "I can't see shit"... yeah... it's... dark. Hopefully, whatever is hiding in those shadows will be something good in the end. PS: (sorry, bear with me!) This "you don't say" had me in tears! You can tell they are brothers ("told ya" in the car and "you don't say" now - dry wit, love it!!!!!!!)

I love this so much, it breaks my heart that no one remembered his birthday. It's an absolutely horrible feeling and for him to already be going through so much mentally has to make this all the worse. l unfortunately think Joris and Tera won't be celebrating unless by chance he saw the boy's birthday on the prescription bottle. I think they list it on there sometimes, I could be wrong. Either way, I hope they by chance know. I love this update and can't wait for more. Enjoy some time with your family <3
