Damn, Chapter 10 is getting pretty long! Make sure it's 42 pages long when you open it, or it means you need to follow those steps:
If you struggle reading it, make sure you properly closed the Patreon app/Safari/Chrome (whatever the PDF opens with, tabs included!). It can take a few tries but you'll be able to read it don't worry :)

I hope you liked the update! I had this scene (including the next pages) in my head for sooo long! Something big is happening, Tera (and us) are getting an idea of what the Boy sees in the dark, and why he's so scared of it. I can't wait to work on the next pages to go further and deeper in this! Obviously it will lead to a scene in which the Boy opens up about his fears (to Tera, awww!!!) You will have to pay attention to the gestures and body language! :D
I'm happy I'm finally able to use those old sketches I published in 2019 to illustrate some of the nightmarish figures plaguing the Boy's mind! And of course this recurrent drawing of the Boy's face crossed out (in fact it's his eyes, it's always the eyes that are crossed out!)
Also, you can tell something is happening in Tera's mind haha.
I hope these intrigue you! More is coming next month!

Effectively the boy is allowing him a glimpse at his soul and he is afraid what Tera might think or see him as broken. Can’t wait for the next update.

2023-02-28 15:54:40 +0000 UTCAwesome update! There’s really a lot going on. Incredible that the boy trusts Tera with the sketches, and that Tera asks for permission. He could have easily shoved the boy away and just looked at them. I can see why the boy is so determined to help Jo out… at least Jo still has a chance to get closer to his brother again and make up for lost time. The boy lost that opportunity, and it seems like he is speaking for Jo just as much as himself when he says “he really misses his brother” while patching Tera up. I wonder if that is something he did for his brother too… Like Tera said, the boy really is a handful and the boy already explained that his brother often took the blame for him… Is it a bad thing to say I am happy that those gorgeous night frights/fears are back? I have a lot of stories saved and they're not pretty, not as in "nicely written" but dark. Like manifestations of my depression and anxiety. I showed some of them to my one and only friend once and I was nervous as hell. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I know the why Tera swallowed like that, because he understood what they maybe were but I felt what the Boy felt. Showing someone your deepest secrets, who you are basically. Maybe I got it all wrong but that's what went through my head when I read the end. Well done like always ❤️ Thank you so much for this update, I hope you're doing well ❤️

Also, I really like how the Boy is talking to Tera in this. Tera is right - the Boy is not afraid of him. But I think it's a very important thing that they can sit down and have a hinest and serious talk like that. Amazing work! 😌 Thank you for all your hard work! 😊
