There is so much dialogue, is it Death Note??? xD
---
These pages are aimed at the reader first: that's me "laying the foundation", helping you understand what's going on and reminding you where we are at the moment.
In Chapter 06 we experienced the Boy's sleep paralysis from the outside: we were seing it without knowing what the Boy was feeling, because I don't let you know what my characters are thinking. To make up for this lack of text I had to make the Boy talk about it: his therapist is probably the only one he opens up to, and the Boy is now describing an actual sleep paralysis.
Those dialogues gave me such a hard time, it doesn't show but I'm REAAALLY careful with what I'm saying here lol.
Same for the therapist (Lee!) talking about Tera: I have to say, as confusing as it is: I think the therapist is wrong about Tera's intentions. Not fully wrong, but at that moment of the story Tera isn't aware he needs help. - "He probably don't know how to behave with you": wrong too (imo) I think he actually don't even think about it: he's a male lol, not the overthinking type. Lee does pinpoint something tho: the Boy is safe with him as Tera wouldn't harm him. Tera is just enjoying the Boy's attitude.
Side note: The Therapist is the mirror character: he shows the Boy what he cannot see about Tera. He is there to highlight his human side. Joris is a mirror character too, but dedicated to the Black Death side: he keeps reminding the Boy how they are powerful and how he should be dead by now lol. The Boy sees none of it.

Let's talk about that painting! It's a bit of a spoiler... but not that much, and I thought you would like me to share this with you (otherwise you might just not see it/understand it) when you'll see it again later you will remember this post and probably enjoy it better!
This is my notes about it:
The painting represents a huge forest of tree trunks. (I had given up on references to the Little Red Riding Hood a long time ago, but then I had this idea and it was just perfect) : The forest symbolizes the place of ordeal (?) for the one who is forced to venture into it, for the one who has gone off the path, a place where he faces his fate, the unknown and all that is scary, to reach adulthood. It is also the representation of the unconscious. And the place where the Big Bad Wolf lives. The fact that the painting appears at this moment is prophetic: the Boy will very soon lose himself in this forest and will symbolically meet the Wolf (get to know Tera). The frame is not hooked yet because the Boy has not stepped into the forest yet, he continues to reject Tera out of his world. Yet he's like mesmerized by the painting: "what's on the other side?".
On his next visit (to the therapist) Tera and the Boy's relationship will have already grown a little and so the painting will be hooked. The Boy will say: "I didn't notice it was so big..." a way of saying: "it looked much less scary from the outside. Now I'm lost in it. Will I ever get out?" as he's probably started to slowly fall for Tera, which will lead him to fight for him.
So keep an eye on it! ;D
