I thought that shadow and all this nightmare stuff would be cool and challenging just like the man burning in chapter 5 - which I REALLY liked to draw, learned a lot - but not really :/ Maybe the nightmare visual didn't "mature" (ripen?) enough -
Maybe because there's just the Boy, half covered by the sheets, which is not really interesting as a drawer. I like the last page tho !
Damn the double page is so small on the PDF! Haha I think I didn't do my best but it's a lil ref to the painting The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli ! Kinda had to adapt it since the Boy's not supposed to move - sleeping paralysis-

That demon/nightmare’s body reminded me of Tera. I noticed Boy fell asleep on the floor but he woke up in bed, was he put on the bed later by someone???? Also I need to tell you and might tell you many times, your art is super gorgeous and inspiring, I adore your work 💗

Maybe the majority doesn’t consider sleep paralysis as serious as depression or anxiety, but just the feelings you were able to stir up through the marvellous art (seriously WOW) gave a perfect idea of how terrible it can be. Can’t wait for more pages, and take your time 💕 good art can’t be rushed ;) And i’m proud of the boy being able to move :D

Moreover, I do think that the "demon" must be someone from the exterior, because, and this is a sincere assumption, if The boy does not hurt himself, which is quite sad if he does, the monster (demon) must have been a person enveloped in the hallucination. This might be wrong, therefore please do not be mad if the storyline does not end up being this.

Sometimes more than nightmares because you know you are "awake", but your body doesn't respond and you see and hear strange things. But yes, I think the same. It's not only a nightmare. Whatever it is, something isn't right inside the boy

This seems to me like a fully grown trauma. Hopefully the boy will get his own monster to fight his trauma. And anyone got some ,,steamy" ideas for the next pages?
