2025-05-06 16:58:01 +0000 UTCAfter the first series, I was a bit concerned with the called-shot mechanic. I felt that it was too harsh on the players. A huge number of westerns have characters have a signature move, such as blasting out of their hands, or headshots or whatever, and the penalty massively discouraged anyone from doing that. with this second series, I do have a bit of an issue with fear roles. The whole setting is weird west, almost every opponent is a monster or monstrous, it seems excessive to have almost every opponent require a fear role. This is especially true of this gang, who are all monster hunters.
