Some of the frames I am imitating are those of Tom Roberts, a personal favorite artist of mine and one of the driving forces of the Heidelberg school of art, a group of Roberts, Streeton, and McCubbin's amongst others who were partially responsible according to some academic literature for the development of Australian national character (in the settler colonial use of the term at least) His frames were initially constructed by his first wife Elizabeth Sarah (Lillie) Roberts who was a decorated frame maker before her death, a job at the time which was considered an acceptable craft for females to engage in.
Hey look dicks again finally.
