Added 2023-02-17 22:52:23 +0000 UTC100 was essentially the max punishment (more often than not they rarely exceeded 30) a prisoner would receive (still a brutal amount) particularly loop-hole interested commandants might break this by kinda breaking up lashes into separate charges on different days etc. Interestingly, military men did not have a maximum and infractions while in military service were more likely to be higher amounts, and result in more fatalities.
Side note, there are folders at the pages top which make reading the comic a bit easier if you want to focus on one without scrolling the others!
