Taking a step back!!

Hi, folks!! It's been a while since we last posted here and we are really sorry about it. The thing is, life happened. A lot of things have been changing in our daily routine and it's becoming harder and harder to focus on the game. So, we decided to take a step back and stop promising dates for new versions. If it was this time last year we would most likely be able to fulfill those deadlines. But, we are in a very delicate moment with a lot of situations that need our attention. We can't get into too much detail, but... it's hard and this is preventing us from working more on the game.

Besides our real life problems there is the value we get from Patreon. Don't get me wrong we thank every Patron we have or had so... so much. But, most of the money we earn right now goes into buying assets (characters, hairs, materials, locations and clothing). With the remaining amount we barely pay our estimated cost of electric cost for rendering. Making games is hard. And, if we want to reach the next level we'll need a lot more time working on ESH than we are right now. But, for the money we are earning right now it's not a very good deal for us.

Not gonna lie to you all... we've talked among ourselves about stop making ESH. But, we have a lot of fun working on this game and we really want it to succeed. So, we'll give it a few more months this year and hopefully things will make a turn for the better. Also, we wanted to share with you all a page with a lot of ideas we've been gathering this past few months and this will give you general idea of where we want things to progress. So... how things will work from now on. We will continue working on the game. But... we won't promise a new release every month. It's really annoying for us to keep promising and not deliver. We want to make it better for you all. So we'll stop make promises we can't keep. We really wish we could. But, the truth is... we can't. So, we'll continue doing small things here and there and at some point we'll have enough to release a new version. This might take us a few months, but, honestly it's the best we can do right now. Also, for the Halloween Side-Story, we'll divide it into 3 releases. The first one, will be the Male Path (v14). The second one will be the Female Path (v15) and the last one will be the Lesbian Path (v16). That way it's more manageable for us and we'll be able to get it out sooner. The Halloween side-story is filled with content, so v15 might be some time down the road. But, it will definitively be released.

Bottom line... when will v13 be released? We don't know yet. It might be soon, it might take a few weeks... we honestly don't know. It really depends on how much work we'll be able to put into it next. We are guessing not much, but we are trying to align expectations so that nobody gets frustrated with the waiting.

And, if we start getting more Patrons the waiting between releases can be shorter and shorter. Keep that in mind if you are on the fence about doing a pledge!!
