Weekly Stream 10: My DAW of choice!

Could you give an update, if anything, regarding the alphabasic store? Feels trivial to the point of maybe being crude in the context of COVID but I've wanted to get one of the t-shirts and a hard copy of an album...

You've mentioned in the past how you love the variety of workflows in FL Studio. I'd love to see what you really mean by that. But I guess the two workflows I'd be most interested in are: 1. what does an orchestral or at least cinematic type template look like in FL? do you typically work from a template or usually just add tracks as needed? and 2. what do you do for Ableton-esque clip launching and setting up multiple arrangements with similar loops? No need to answer these questions separately at the beginning if they are things you'll cover in the main stream.

Do you remember a rough timestamp? Usually he answers the questions in the beginning and I didn't have the time (yet) to watch the whole video :) Thanks anyways!

I think he did answer it, and that the answer was something along the lines of "Not that I can remember".

and c) What are your top5 favourite / least favourite things about FL, and d) What functions would you import to FL from another DAW if you had the chance. - Hope that helps with the question bucket. Looking forwards to the stream as I bought FL in the Black Fri sale (I like the stock plugs / Free updates / Just all the STUFF).

I used FL Studio many, many years ago but I always found the audio recording to be not so user friendly. (This was pre "everything has a YT tutorial" days). I ended up programming everything there and then recording live tracks in another DAW. Hoping you'll take a look at some of this during the stream. I haven't watched any sort of workflow video for FL and I'm definitely out of the loop on enhancements over the last like 7-8 years. Looking forward to seeing how you use it! Could be worth another look, especially given the whole lifetime free updates thing.
