Was there any neat hardware or live setup you were looking forward to using live that you didn't get to use in 2020? Really interested in what a Flashbulb show would have been like in 2020. If not, maybe you could just show us the live action version of some of those sweet dance moves you pulled off in the Our Simulacrum music video. Maybe don't kick a cop on your first live stream though.
2020-12-29 05:31:15 +0000 UTCHey I loved the BTS vid- the drum and monologue section was trippy and very cool. I would totally get into an existentialism thang if you end up making it, fingers crossed! For the live stream- maybe a short live performance or even DJ set? I have one that you did yeeaars ago for NYE (or was it halloween) and it's cool to see what music you like to mix without having to worry about constraints, just music you like and think is cool and flows.
2020-12-29 02:26:44 +0000 UTCThe Duo X video is one of my favs (but I know some of the devs as well). Getting a Dwarf in a couple more months but now also eyeing a second hand Duo X .. Got Max to work on Linux to try and compile some gen~ stuff to lv2 .. not quite working yet ..

2020-12-29 00:20:09 +0000 UTCHey Benn, I'm always interested to hear you do some improvised looping.. I've never had the pleasure of seeing you play live but have watched a few old videos on The Flashbulb but you've got way better gear for looping nowadays between the mod duo and the Singular Sound stuff, would love to see how that aspect of your performance is going these days. And you could always talk about your modular. even just a snippet.
2020-12-28 23:26:55 +0000 UTCLive performance would be a great topic. Interested to hear if Benn ever uses FL for live performances or just hardware.
2020-12-28 22:54:00 +0000 UTCGreat job with the behind the scenes video. My favourite video of yours is the bat video! Second is the polyend community listening, even though I don't own one. I'm glad you made a patreon!
2020-12-28 22:50:53 +0000 UTCBenn, glad to be a supporter. Your handling of the Behringer 'School Donation' subject blew me away.....you never once let emotions cloud your judgement/assessment. Absolutely professional.

2020-12-28 22:09:26 +0000 UTCAs it's so close to New Year's, do you have any New Year's resolutions? Your patreon/BTS video really helps to illuminate your process. Do you have any tips for time management? How do you stay sharp to absorb/retain all of this complexity?
2020-12-28 21:33:04 +0000 UTCI wanna hear some about all the gear in your video backdrop, the stuff you actually use in all your music, even if it's not cool and new :)
2020-12-28 21:11:46 +0000 UTCI hope i can make it, I don't have any particular interests I can bug you with except how to learn a new instrument when you're almost 40 and have little time on your hands AND want to make noise that translates to music for some. Maybe some tips on room treatment if the room is your small living room that you share with your wife ;D

2020-12-28 21:09:19 +0000 UTCWhat a video! I've got nothing. Just happy to be able to support you β€ If you need any help with Discord, let me know, gladly help you out if you need any. EDIT: i just thought of something: what's your workflow/approach to sampling something. Then again - that probably takes far too long and could easily become an entire video in itself.... nevermind.. carry on π
