“Hey can you spare a cig–... Ahh, you’ve noticed the cat. Never mind then, it won’t work on you. I don’t mean my magic – oh, that will work, believe me – but the con. Can’t con people like us, they’re too sharp! Too clever. I guess it’s because they’re always on their toes. There was this one aware woman, she was… you know what, let’s go over to the hotel’s bar, buy me a drink and I’ll tell you all about her.”
Hey folks!
Today’s track is another one from the official City of Mist: Local Legends soundtrack, this time for the casino district of Fortune Row. This track is built for heists, misdirection, and slippery conversations in smoky back rooms.
It combines jazzy brass and brushed drums with the sound of coins, casino ambience, and a touch of noir. Tension creeps in through the synth layers and strings, giving it just enough edge to keep things suspenseful.
Bard tier supporters get access to one alternate version of the track:
Slow Ambient Pulse: A slowed-down, pitch-shifted version with added effects for a dreamy, spacey atmosphere.
30-second preview of this version is attached to the post!
This track is not numbered like my other tracks and is instead contained within a folder called City of Mist – Local Legends soundtrack. You’ll find this folder inside all of the usual format folders (MP3, WAV, OGG, looped, 1 hour, and alternate versions).
Minstrel Tier - the track
Troubadour Tier - the track with looping and 1 hour versions
Bard Tier - the track and alternate versions of the track with looping and 1 hour versions, plus uncompressed .wav versions of the track
