“The sign on the Chinatown Gate says ‘Ten-thousand spirits, one City’. It’s to remind us we each have our own gods inside us. Some make us courageous. Some make us meek. Some tempt us to be our worst selves. But no matter how different we are, we are a community that holds tight its traditions and its past, with all of its regrets and triumphs.”
Hey folks!
Today’s track is called Chinatown, and it was written for the official City of Mist: Local Legends soundtrack. The full soundtrack has just been released, and you can grab it now over on the Son of Oak website. I’ll also be slowly releasing each track here on Patreon for you all over the next few months, and will eventually release the full soundtrack on Spotify and other platforms.
This piece combines modern synths and beats with traditional Chinese instruments to create a noir-flavoured action track.
Bard tier supporters get access to one alternate version of the track:
Ambient Haze: An ambient take on the original, stretch into a hazy dreamlike feeling.
30-second preview of this version is attached to the post!
Thanks!
This track is not numbered like my other tracks and is instead contained within a folder called City of Mist – Local Legends soundtrack. You’ll find this folder inside all of the usual format folders (MP3, WAV, OGG, looped, 1 hour, and alternate versions).
