"High above the treeline, everything is still. Snow drifts across stone. The cold presses in around you. Nothing stirs, yet the grows heavier, thick with a pressure you can’t quite name."
Hey folks!
Today's track is called Frozen Vigil, part of this month’s Frosty Mountain Peaks theme, based on your votes in the Patreon poll last month. This track sits somewhere between atmosphere and suspense, with a quiet, textural sound that gives a sense of subtle unease. Soft string textures, gentle pitch slides, the creak of bow on string, and light pizzicato details create a sense of stillness that feels almost too still.
The art used in the video is from Czepeku Scenes | Illustrated fantasy scenes
Bard tier supporters get access to one alternate version of the track:
Glacial Cycles: A weird ambient version with the original track processed through heavy effects. The music rises and falls in slow waves, more a more spacey, abstract feel.
30-second preview of this version is attached to the post!
