What next?

Hey folks,

I always like to have a background project to work on besides just writing the music. For a while it was the patreon exclusive Foundry module (which I’ll update with the latest tracks soon). Then it was tabletoprpgmusic.com to help you search through the track library. But now I’m at a bit of a loose end with figuring out what to work on next?

A few ideas floating around my head include:

And some other ideas I have that aren’t really so related to music:

But really, I’m looking for suggestions from you all. Is there some feature you’d love to see me add to the patreon, or a project you think I could focus on for the long term? Obviously I’ll continue writing tracks as always (aiming for 6 per month at the mo which I think is doable) but I’d love to know if anyone has any suggestions for what else I should dedicate my time to?

Would it be possible to maybe make a comprehensive library of sound effects for spells, actions e.t.c

Far as specifics, arcs i have coming up: underdark themed (caves, distant echoey monsters, drip-drops, quiet air movement, etc), an arena, waterdeep dragonheist, (so city, crowds, sewers, gangs, fighting, a much demanded sequel to the Ballad of Waterdeep, oops, how'd that get in there...), a dream arc where they're in the mind of a little spirit going through numerous environments, so like whimsical, semi-spooky stuff (think fable? i guess?), going to run descent into avernus later this year, so stuff that might go well in those environments (city, hell, really spooky places) Any of that would be a cool thing to see if any of that sounds like a good creative spark for ya. :) obviously, i'm just one guy, but that's my audio wish-list. :3 Good luck sir, look forward to literally anything ya make. I'll try to make a stream to come say hi sometime soon here.

Especially, themed (like monthly maybe?) SFX would be an immense help to me personally. That's the thing i struggle with finding legal, free copies of. I've found ways of getting "just that one explosion for tonight's game" but i'd much rather see someone supported that isn't an overseas headless, aggregate sound collection vendor and instead a massively creative, talented fellow like yourself. I have no idea what goes into making things like that but if like, hand-crafting sounds is not a branch you'd explore, just using the crazy good collection you have to make like "haunted house ambience" or "swamp at night" things like that, that's so so helpful for setting the mood.
