Snowed Inn - festive tavern

"Through the blizzard, you hear the sounds of music and laughter. You finally find the old inn, lights blazing through the windows, piercing the thick snow. You can feel the heat from the hearth even from outside. The heavy oak door swings open, and you are welcomed inside."

Hey folks,

Another festive track for you! This one is very much a tavern track, with some medieval sounding instruments (hurdy-gurdy anyone?) coupled with sleigh bells to create a warm wintery feeling. I've deliberately made the band ever so slightly out of time with one another at points to give a sense of realism to the performance. The track is split into two halves, with the first half in a jolly triplet rhythm and the second half switching to more standard timing to keep the track interesting enough to last the full length.

I was commissioned to write this track and two others by Roll & Play Press who make idea-generating content for D&D. The tracks are part of the 'Game Master's Festive Bundle' which contains lots of interesting looking tools to help you run games in a festive setting.
