New Story Announcement: Blood on the Marshes

Hello hi! I want to introduce you to one of my next stories: Blood on the Marshes. It's a lesbian vampire detective thriller. It takes place in a world full of enchanted paintings—Klefkia, the charming protagonist and a skilled painter, will be mixed up in a long-cold murder case.

Here is what to expect:

Klefkia’s paintings would never bleed. The same can’t be said for others’.

Thus, when a painting goes rogue, she’s one of the first to be called on for help. Bleedings she closes never start again. They don’t spill their monsters into the cities and villages, don’t engulf buildings or playgrounds, don’t entrap the surprised. She performs this work silently and efficiently, because when paintings don’t bleed, they help temper emotions—a purpose too ingrained in society to forsake.

When she gets paired up with a hot-blooded fighter called Brishti for another closing expedition, she expects a fun and swift success. Instead, they uncover a daunting trace in the memories of the sabotaged painting: marks of a certain bite on the victim’s neck.

The legends of the Vampire were real. An ancient painting awoken, roaming the peninsula, leaving a trail of bodies. For centuries, it’s been hiding and feeding, but now that Klefkia has seen proof of its existence, she can no longer ignore it. The Vampire will be brought to light and its terrors avenged.

That is, if she and Brishti can follow the path of paint, blood, and deceit—and close these old and festering wounds.

A public release will eventually follow once I have written around 100k words total and finished making a cover. Thus, it might take until early 2026. In the meantime, I will post chapters to Patreon whenever they are ready.

Paintress took up the majority of my time over the past few months. I'm still working on LNO though, as per usual, and I expect to pick up the pace again for it once all the Paintress prepwork is done. Another chapter for LNO will likely follow within a few days.
