Happy Holidays, Patreon peeps! Here's the CHARM, SHIMMER, and GALE scene (unedited!) that I plan on including in the Supers: Ex Heroes 1-4 boxset. Enjoy!

Charm eyed Breaker and Twitch, getting all giddy over some new information they had found about Ranger. They were on their way from Supralines, which had been a very strange experience. Not the fight, exactly, but the way it made Charm feel. As if the memories of that place were distant dreams, missing pieces of the puzzle. At least they had left on a good note, Charm still remembering the way her heart had thudded in her chest as she watched Breaker go down on Gale at the edge of the hot springs. 

She was glad to leave it behind and get on with the mission. Find the pyramids. Destroy Ranger. What more could she ask for.

A moment later, Shimmer joined them in the hall, offering them an excited smile. “What do you have in mind?”

“Honestly, I really want to kick something,” Charm admitted.

“Kick me, then,” Gale said. “I could use some sparring.”

“I’d be into that,” Shimmer added. “Not kicking you,” she said to Gale, “but sparring. Maybe kicking you as part of it.”

Gale grinned, motioning them toward the training room. Moving back through the ship, they found what they had been using to train in—it wasn’t a large room, but would do. Basically, an old store room that had most of their food and a water tank off to one side. 

“No powers?” Shimmer asked. 

“Deal,” Charm replied, winking. Everyone knew that, even without her charms, she was a natural badass. Faster and stronger than most by far. 

All three moved into the room, forming a triangle. Charm took the first move, lunching for a kick to Gale’s leg. Shimmer went for Gale’s other side, so that the large woman had to decide which to counter first. She stepped into Shimmer’s strike and blocked it, but took the kick to her side. 

“Fuck, girl, you’ve got some muscles in those legs!” Gale stood, rubbing her side, and laughed. “Not that I’m surprised.”

“Why’s that?”

Charm arched an eyebrow, walking over to Gale. “Are you serious? Do you know how many people I’d kill to have an ass like yours?”

This time, Gale moved first, going for Charm. Time to get revenge, apparently, because she feinted with a punch but then followed it with a solid hook to the ribs. With all that body weight behind the strike, it hurt like a sledgehammer strike. 

“Nice one,” Charm wheezed, glancing over her shoulder to see Shimmer moving in.

Charm moved out of reach so Shimmer redirected toward Gale, bringing in a one-two strike combo to the face, complete with a small uppercut. Gale landed a couple in retaliation, but then it was Charm bringing the damage, fast and hard, on both of them. 

“Fuck this no powers rule,” Shimmer said, and pushed herself up to lunge for Charm. 

What Charm saw though, was a flurry of kicks and punches too fast for her to counter. Then one landed in her stomach, sending her flying back. She caught herself on the wall and pushed back to land a punch across Shimmer’s jaw, only to find it wasn’t Shimmer at all! The punch was swallowed up into empty air, Shimmer’s face contorting into that of a demonic being complete with horns and big red eyes. 

“Stop it!” Charm growled, spinning and sniffing. Bam! A kick sent Shimmer onto her ass, and then Charm was on her, growling… before biting her lip and staring at her with eyes inches away. 

“How’d you spot me?” Shimmer asked. 

“The sweet scent of honeysuckle.” 

“Fuck you.” 

“With pleasure.” Charm pressed her hips into the woman’s as Gale laughed about the honeysuckle comment. 

“Where’d you go, anyway?” Shimmer asked Gale, flipping Charm aside, but only because Charm let her. 

“My powers could tear this ship apart if I let them get out of hand,” Gale replied. “The second you two decided to use powers, I was out.”

“Moved damn quick…” Shimmer stopped, glancing at Charm. 

“For a large woman?” Gale asked, then laughed again. “Hey, if Charm loves this ass, I embrace it whole-heartedly. Shi—it. But don’t get confused, I have muscle under these thunder thighs.”

“I don’t doubt it for a second,” Shimmer replied. A moment of silence followed, the look in her eyes distant. 

“Everything okay there, big girl?” Gale said. 

Shimmer chuckled at the title, coming from her, but nodded. “Just… remembering a time when I didn’t have girlfriends like this.”

“Or girl lovers,” Charm pointed out. 

“We might bury our faces between your legs,” Gale assured Shimmer, “but we’re your girls. Don’t ever doubt that.”

“Actually…” Charm turned back to the bridge, then shook her head. “I’m going to see if I can have a nightcap. In the form of Breaker’s cock.”
