A few notes. In ancient Greek mythology, there were several legendary nymph youths whose beauty drove everyone crazy, Narcissus and Attis. You probably know about Narcissus, but Attis, he was the son of the nymph Nana and he became a eunuch associated with the cult of the hermaphroditic god Agdistis/Cybele.
