Jonathan Creek Season 4 Episode 3 Tailors Dummy

Comments

Josh dude you haven't commented how JC has now had both halves of the famous duo Rik Mayall and Ade Edmonson now with Ade's role being reocurring and Rik comes back for one special later down the line. But Brendan (Carla's TV show producer husband) is Eddie from Bottom and obviously Richie/Rik Mayall was in the Black Canary episode. They're so funny man.

You got me again with that what the characters are thinking inner monologue. "Now take your clothes off" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Same! I was in love with Victoria Shalet when she was in The Queen's Nose. She was a couple of years older than me (still is, funnily enough!) and I was a bit besotted! 😂🙃

30:20 … I'm convinced Jonathan actually knew at that point, but decided that making Carla uncomfortable was a bigger prize than the ego trip of revealing that he knows everything,

I'd forgotten Victoria Shalet was in this episode (playing granddaughter Carrie)! After watching "The Queen's Nose" in the late 90s she was one of my first TV crushes...

Wow… apparently I haven't rewatched this episode since taking Japanese classes at university. I never noticed how clearly the lie detector thing was signposted.

5:20 into this, and you're already catching the things that it feels like we missed on the first viewing. Of course, going into the meta stuff… if she'd really seen something fly across the road, they would have shown it. It's weird how many clues you can pick up on subsequent viewings just paying attention to the details that they would almost certainly have shown if they were real… (That's something that first hit me with Danse Macabre; how you often get the voiceover of somebody telling Jonathan/Maddie/Carla what happened, but the camera always omits the parts that the narrating character assumed)
