Who is Matt Hancock? Jesus, where to start... Well, the cliff notes version is he was an MP in government who rose to infamy during COVID times as he was on our screens regularly giving us information and government instructions (such as social distancing rules) during lockdown(s). The problem is he was caught on camera kissing his governmental aide, a double whammy of cheating on his wife and blatantly ignoring the social distancing rules he was giving to the public. (The list of other cringe worthy moments is too long to go into here but it was capped off with him weirdly fake crying with relief on TV when the vaccines were rolled out.) He (along with a lot of other politicians) was then investigated during the COVID inquiry, (which exposed/confirmed a lot of corruption!) and he was forced to resign. Like an unflushable turd, though, he kept popping up, mainly on reality TV series, grifting for that Z-list celebrity money. The only plus side of which is that on "SAS : Who Dares Wins", a female instructor got to call him a "weasel faced c*nt" to his face! So Julian's comment of how Alex has the charisma of Matt Hancock was SAVAGE.

And the relief when Sam's solution to the "I'm underneath it!" task turns out not to be (as I'd vaguely feared) him sprinting out the front gate and lying down in the middle of the road...
