Shadow

However, a curious thought occured to me: if death is never the end, where does that leave you, who never began?
Were you in the shadows while I was in the light?
Perhaps I died there while you lived in my place, or perhaps we co-existed all along.
For so long I focused on the twin suns, I never thought of the moon in between.
Still, the light and darkness between a few times.
The solstice nears; let us meet then, at sunrise.
