2023-08-13 21:38:22 +0000 UTC@Jade Oh that should go without saying. It's only my opinion, as agreeable or not as you find it. Tbh it's only the end being completely focused on the crimping I find lacklustre. Everything leading up to that is funny and pretty solid. When it's the final act that's disappointing though, it tends to spoil things a little more.

2023-08-13 00:28:34 +0000 UTCThat was Gary Numan in the cupboard by the way. Most famous for the songs "Cars" and "Are Friends Electric" (though that was actually his band The Tubeway Army). Vince had Cars as his ringtone in Season 1. As I've said prior, as a young teen I loved the songs and the crimps, partly because the friendship group I had all watched the show and knew them too, so this episode was a lot more enjoyable back then. Also that style of random humour seemed more popular back then. Not finding that stuff all that funny anymore makes this one of the weakest episodes of the show for sure.
