2023-07-31 06:26:25 +0000 UTCI did count kayvan in there. What was his ‘bi’m babsolutely blabbergasted’ character called? Can’t remember but that was complete genius :)

2023-07-30 16:08:51 +0000 UTCI love Nadja's low-effort, contemptuous flirting wtih the fratbro. Part of why the cast is so ridiculously strong is the way they add these little noises and tics to their delivery, like the way she does these ridiculous nasal moans when she's being 'sexy', or the way Matt Berry pronounces Manahattan. Matt Berry is the master of this. I always remember the IT Crowd episode where he's romancing April, the woman who used to be a man, and asks her 'will you go to dinner with me...in Paris?'. The way he says 'in Paris?' has stayed with me ever since, it's so insane. It's one of those deliveries where you laugh at it for a long time when you first hear it because it's so out of nowhere and absurd. And this show has two or three main characters who are brilliant at that kind of line reading.

2023-07-29 11:38:40 +0000 UTCYeah, I assumed she was metaphorically invisible...then her vampire power is that she can become literally invisible.

2023-07-29 11:32:09 +0000 UTCI think the joke with the invisibility is that she was always "invisible", in that people never paid attention to her or noticed her before she got the actual power.
