Vermilion Bird, God of the
Southern Wind and the
Highmost Sun, Lord of
Fire and burning daylight!
The God who they call
Zhu Què, Suzaku,
Jujak and Chu Túc is the
Most glorious of all
Them the gods in all
The universe so vast,
His feathers of bright
Geoluread, to thou
The Sun is less in marvel,
For He governs it!
Oh greatermost God!
Lord of the Summer so hot!
Phoenix crowned with
The everblazing south
Wind and sunrays, Pavon of
Holy flames, all
I ask of Your most
Granted highness merely
Is that Your highness
Takes the offer
I give; burn my flesh and
Bone alike,
They are Your's to burn;
Take all of the world if
You wish, for it's flesh
Is all Your's! All I
Want is the sky light on your
Fire, ablaze
On your glory, oh
Mighty God of the Summer,
Fire and Sun; as
Much as I want the
Winter dead, all I ask of
The most royal is
A spark of You, both
To warm myself, and to set
Your glory on this
World, to offer more
Sacrifices to Your might!
Glory belongs
To the Bird in Vermilion!
