Similar thing with her immediately skipping track on "Girlfriend In A Coma" during the getting-ready scene, nice little detail I never noticed before.

It was a really good one =]

Yea they did a good job with that.

Right, the twists in every episode has been wild.

Need to go to sleep but been dying to see your reaction to this amazing episode... An episode that doesn't end in total misery for the characters

superfurryfox

dya say paedo to relate to how brits say pedo or you just got used to hearing it be said as paedo lol, paedo does sound more insulting which i like

I just literally finished the first episode (Conan) and I came to edit my comment to include a summary.. it's okaaayy, just not the same. The hot sauce bit was pretty funny, but the rest seemed like it was trying too hard.. The scripted bits need to happen because it needs to move the story along but you're right, they are a bit overkill.. I suggest Murder in Successville highly however, I really enjoyed it.

I watched the episode with Conan in it, because it's Conan O'Brien and he's one of my favourite people. But even with him in it, it didn't really work. I haven't seen the original version, I can't compare the two, but the US version is caught between the scripted narrative parts and the desire of the guest(and Will Arnett, who's the main regular, and the ... host?) to improvise and break those scripted narrative parts. And the balance is too far in favour of scripted bits that the guest can't interrupt because they're crucial for the narrative. So there isn't as much room to riff as I'd hoped.

Great episode, when you finish this show do you think you could make a list of your favourite to least favourite episodes. Me and my friend did something similar and I think it would be interesting

Aaron

I suggested Murder In Successville for the list and the US have only gone and made their own version called 'Murderville'.. The US doesn't have a good track record of remaking UK shows well, not sure what to expect lol.. but if they decided it was good enough to take over there, it has to be good enough for this Patreon! 🤣

This is not only my favourite episode of Black Mirror but it's one of the most aptly placed episodes too. Last week's episode was as messed up and nasty as anyone can imagine and then this week, we get something genuinely moving, romantic and wholesome. It's literally night and day and I'm glad we got daylight this time, and a happy ending! Not something you ever associate with Black Mirror. But how well it's done when they want to! 🙏

Ash Jeffries

Hands down, best episode for me so far.

Daryl

I really liked this episode I felt like the 2000s era was REALLY 2000s I felt like they nailed that era pretty well

mrtheevilmage

This is one of the reasons black mirror is so good. You know there's going to be some kind of twist, but because literally anything could happen you never know when it'll show it's self or what it'll be.

Eddy

It was a great episode bud =]

"Point two - I owe you nothing! Point three...see point two!" I think that line threw Josh for a loop, looked like he was thinking "C.2??" But yeah, rare episode that gives hope that a technological future could benefit us in ways I hadn't even imagined before! A nostalgic paradise you can live as long you want in and time hop to any era? Sign me up! :D A thing I noticed second time round was at the start, Yorkie flinched at the pixellated car crashing in the arcade game. Cool little detail!

David Lyons

I was looking forward to this one coming up on your reactions. Great stuff mate.
