Very wild, anarchic and sometimes weird and random. Been a huge fan for decades and while many of what’s mentioned locks it into a time period (Thatcher’s bloody bwwrritain!) much of the slapstick and general wackiness still makes it hilarious, not to mention the (usually) hilarious characters. It may be dated in places but this is a great bit of TV history. Been waiting for this for ages….and VERY interested to see how Josh will react to it!

I wanted Young Ones to win, but The Thick Of It is sublime and given that there's been a long run of middle-of-the-road comfort-food comedies it'd be good to finally get more alternative, subtle stuff(or batshit crazy stuff, like Young Ones) winning again.
