What is up with Lucy Davis' performance in this episode? She was so natural in The Office, whereas her performance in this episode is horribly forced, labored and awkward ("Shut up, Tanya!"). FUN FACT: Lucy Davis is the comedian Jasper Carrot's Daughter. During an interview, Lucy Davis recalled meeting someone and them asking "Davis is your surname? Why did you change it?" and Lucy responded "At what point did you think that Davis was the made up name?".

Series 3 is definitely a downgrade. The serialist aspects of the show became labored and forced, to the point of confusion (for example; Manny being stuck to the wall horizontally within the previous episode or the bartender under the table within a later episode). Having said that, there are still brilliant moments throughout series 3. It's not that it's a bad series, rather that it's noticeably inconsistently brilliant when compared to series 1 and 2.

Olivia Coleman dude! She has the most adorable Oscar speech in the whole of history!!! https://youtu.be/YUytvAg_hE4

Not the strongest episode but still watchable... I feel like the first season was the strongest and it's got gradually slightly weaker with each season... Something I hadn't realised on previous viewings but I still love the show and it's still one of my all time favourites... If I remember rightly, there's a few strong episodes left that stick in my mind so hopefully we get some serious belly laughs in the last few episodes.

Did he miss her like he did with David Jason as well lol.

Sophie - Olivia Colman. She won an Oscar Josh!
