?? Why vote for it then?

Saul

I'm guessing the envelope he gave to her in case he died or whatever was to go to Dingham and contained all he needed to know essentially which is why he shot him at the end.

Al May

Lol thanks bud 🤣

Forgot how fantastic this movie is. And your reaction was brilliant, I'm sure Scorsese would've been proud to have created that much of a reaction haha

Ed

Also, didn't people try and crowdsource an edit of that ending, so the rat symbolism was removed? It's pretty clumsy.

Saul

The scene where Wahlberg points out that there are only two people who can vouch for Di Caprio is a scary scene. It does a great job of getting across the existential stress of doing a job like that, where it's only a tiny thread that's keeping him connected to the truth, and if those two people die or change their minds or just get vindictive that thread snaps and his entire reality can be wiped from existence.

Saul

If that's the way the vote goes.

Hiphopanonymous

Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic film, my favourite post Goodfellas Scorsese, but is a three hour long mafia epic really the right fit for this channel?

Saul

Thanks bud I will add them to my list.

Oh wow that is awesome 👍

Some more Martin Scorsese movies that i recommend to be added to the poll Raging Bull (1980) The King Of Comedy (1982) Taxi Driver (1976) Bringing Out The Dead (1999) The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013) Shutter Island (2010) Gangs Of New York (2002)

I was surprised to learn that the original Internal Affairs also had that crappy ending. There is absolutely no reason why Billy had to meet Colin on the roof of that building. He had access to all the tapes. He could have gone to the DA, Police Internal Affairs, Dignam, but no, he has to meet him alone. And springing the second crooked cop on us. Stupid.

Tracy Frazier

FYI Martin Scorsese is a HUGE film buff and he is believed to have the largest film collection in the world and has a big movie poster collection aswell as his own private cinema. He also owns a film restoration company that specializes in restoring old movies. He had them restore Rebel Without A Cause several years ago, aswell as various other films

Danny

Definitely a really good job they did with this remake of Infernal Affairs. So many Asian films get Americans remakes and fail so badly, I'm looking at you Oldboy and Ghost in the Shell😐
