Dude, these days there'd be a 'trigger warning' on this stuff 😂

My mum loved vicar of dibley (prob still does shes not dead yet or anything) I always liked David best But fyi you made me go watch street fighter again lol it is awful but Raul Julia is a treat to watch in every scene as Bison

Edward Wilkinson

Says 18 in the poll so I guess so :)

In terms of the celeb references, this show is older than many people think (I was surprised, and a little sad, to learn about how many of the cast have actually passed away), and certainly a product of its time; take comfort in the fact that a great many of us British viewers are probably just as lost as you are when a celebrity is mentioned (unless they're super famous). I think the shows appeal is it is enjoyable despite the dated references, rather than because of them.

Has there been any updates on the fact that this show does not have 31 episodes as was originally thought by Josh?

Ben

Thanks for the info bud, much appreciated 👍

Lol that is something Karl would complain about 🤣 Thank you I really enjoyed this episode.

I’m British and I don’t understand half the references 😂

Owen moaning about Noah saving too many species of animals reminded me of Karl P 😀 Glad you were able to enjoy this one more :D good episode. Thanks Josh.

Great reaction, Josh, and so glad you enjoyed this one more because of how many fewer celeb references there were! Samantha Fox was possibly the only one and she's a dated reference now! Still, it didn't matter as the joke was so obvious that it didn't matter if you didn't recognise the name! Great episode - much more on par with episode 1 and 2 IMHO. I have gone on to rewatch more of these, Josh, and trust me, *stick with it*. There are some great episodes that I know you will absolutely enjoy so I really hope the odd anglo-centric episode which would be difficult for any American to fully appreciate doesn't put you off, as there's so many very funny episodes coming up. The Christmas Special, which is about 4 episodes away, is an absolute scream. Hilarious. You will love it. Dibley is supposed to be in Oxfordshire, which is the neighbouring county to mine, so not set too far from where I live. Not surprising then that Geraldine references my home town in this episode. DANIEL: Someone mentioned she's a virgin. GERALDINE: Hardly! I heard she's the best kisser in Cheltenham. I live in Cheltenham, it is my university town too, and I went to University in 2002, so been here many years! :-D Owen does get some killer lines. "Bugger me! You could get someone killed for that!" :-D He's a bit more switched on than Trigger (odd, but not quite as dim.) Roger Lloyd Pack is so versatile a comic actor.
