Very Quick Solar Update!

Self Driving Car? Yes, it works!

Well, here it is. Started on this back in 2024. I think everyone here was excited to see this video, except for one very vocal Patron who made his case, and then left.

Self-Driving trip to Dallas

David Lovett (from Usagi Electric) and I take a trip to downtown Dallas using full-self driving. This is a 40 minute contiguous un-edited video. I'll be using clips from this in the main video (still in the works), but I'm also going to keep this full unedited video online as well, because I suspect there will be people claiming I faked the drive, and thus if anyone has any doubt, they can watch this in its entirety.

That being said, we have a lot of fun chatting about the technolog...

UPDATE: I've reuploaded the video. I reworked the area starting at 15:20. I've actually added a bit of trivia about the Williams Defender lawsuit, and removed any AI generated content. All of the drawings were done by hand, my hand specifically... so hopefully that eliminates the complaints. If all is well, I plan to release tomorrow.

I have a nifty Apple II related video in the works. I was hoping to have it done by the end of the year, but looks like that isn't happening. Unfortunately, I've been at the arcade nearly 7 days a week for the last few weeks. Mostly because arcade machines keep breaking down as fast as we can fix them. Hopefully the machines will give us a break soon.

How Atari 8-Bit Computers Work

Here it is, finally! I've been working on this technically for years. But I brought it to the front burner about 6 weeks ago. I was really hoping to have it done before the end of November, but I ended up with bronchitis a few weeks ago and lost my voice for nearly 2 weeks, so I couldn't record anything.

We Built an Arcade!

Well, this video has been 2.5 years in the making. I think once you see this, it will become clear why my video output has been so low the last few months. Big news for the Commander X16

I have been saving up a lot of news this year for VCF Midwest. And I had planned to use that presentation as the source of this video, but I decided to just refilm everything at home so that it would flow faster and so it would be easier to see the new hardware. Subtitles are done. Still working on a thumbnail.

Updates on Videos, Arcade, X16, and maybe Autism?

Sorry about the audio quality. For some bizarre reason there was a static like noise in the recording that I didn't notice until time to edit. I'm not sure where it came from. So, I used some filters to remove it, but it did reduce the audio quality some.

The 6502 CPU

Well, I've been working on this video for about 3 months. It went through 3 script re-writes. And for some reason it still doesn't really capture what I wanted it to be. But I hope you will like it anyway. This probably won't go live until Wednesday. Maybe even later if you guys find any errors that need to be fixed, as I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow.
