Overhaul/Quality Control or Story Progression?

I'm a little torn at the moment. Of course I will be getting new sprites from Bebecake on a (approximately) monthly basis, which will improve the look of the characters in the game.

New portraits are something I would like too, especially for those characters that don't have any yet, or are currently using my sad placeholders.

Well that's stuff I'm hiring others to do. What should "I" be working on? There's a variety of things that should happen, but I would like your input.

A: Story progression - The final 16 levels of The Abyss. 

B: Overhaul - Going through previous areas and replacing all resources, yet again, to simplify and speed up gameplay. Mineable rocks, wood-bearing items, treasure chests, plants, etc.. All would be replaced. You pop/break it, you pick it up (just bump into) and it's yours. No more messy text or cumbersome animations.

C: Optional Content - This would entail a focus on adding more personal quests for Sienna's children, more classroom sessions, and generally more focus on fixing up content and bugs within The Abyss.

I have been taking a small break from working on the game, aside from several small fixes that Sarpe over at ULMF pointed out.

While taking a break I did commission Mavis for this piece, being a Monster High fan (particularly Howleen).

It was $30 to do so. Hopefully nobody will mind. If you do then let me know and I'll try to stick with commissions that help more with FSA's development.

On the other hand if you DO like it then let me know and I'll see if I can't make it a monthly thing. It's all up to you. :)
