I finished up The Caverns 1 to 4 so I've went back to working on the Penitentiary. It's a really old area, actually. I made it a long, long time ago, before The Tower, and even before The Crypts were added into the game. Likely right after I finished The Dungeon many years ago.

As you can imagine, it's like going through a drawer that you haven't looked in for 5 years. "What's this? What did I need this for? What was I thinking? What is this junk anyway?"

Well maybe it's not that bad... It wasn't that long ago that I completed the level layout and added goodies here and there. A few old monsters had to go though, as they don't suit the area now. A minotaur? A strange worm thing named a creeper?
Imagine.. I chose the name creeper before I played and got sick of Minecraft. lol

Sorry for the boring backstory. Anyway, I added guards to the area (like the guys you see in The Tower area). Originally these used the same stats as the jailer you can fight at the end of The Tower, but that would be too weak by the time you reach The Tower. The new jailers have double the stats of that one. They're not alone though, there are guard dogs, experiments, and abyssians at the Penitentiary.

I had some other monsters for this area as well, but I've decided to save them for other areas. I've been working on variations of those mentioned above. I almost have the 3x and 2x abyssian encounters finished. Then I'll just need one more monster combo and I'll be done with the monsters for this area.

I've been thinking about how to release the new areas. Should I try and release one new area at a time? Or take my time and get them all finished first? I feel like it would be better to keep it all closed until I fix all the problems with The Tower and The Abyss.

Speaking of that, I've had reports of the last two checkups in The Tower not working properly *mumble mumble*. Among other things.. it seems Dillon is still causing problems. It seems he is destined to eternally haunt FSA with his buggy glitches. xP

After I complete the penitentiary I'll take a look at these issues and try to fix them.
Here's what I've got so far in my notes:
"First lightlock breaks the game with lantern on? Maybe cuz of 2nd day? Don't know...
Could be a flare issue? Eh..

In Gambler's Den Sienna can offer Dillon sex when her temptation is high. How?...
Anyway, it apparently leads to a black screen. Ugh.. But you can use the whistle to get loose.

Apparently both of the nights just after you lose Dillon is messing up in the lab, with strange things happening like actors walking through walls and other such happenings. There are other reports too, like the checkups not happening at all. What gives?.."
