Moon River!!!

I am so happy to present to you my transcription of Jacob's new "Moon River" arrangement. 

Fun fact: it was actually Jacob's idea to create a gigantic score with everybody's name attached to the note. He helped me out with the intro big time!

This one turned out to be a completely different monster than anything I've transcribed before! I wanted this transcription to serve a function, so I tweaked the guitar part so it is playable on the keyboard.

Dear Patrons,

Here's my transcription of Jacob's "With the Love in My Heart" from DJESSE Vol. 1, featuring the Metropole Orkest!

The challenge in transcribing this piece was making the score legible. Because of the many layers, instruments and effects, I drew the line between integral and supplementary information, with the criteria being whether the sound supports the overall structure or not.

Finally finished transcribing "In My Room" from Jacob's 2016 album In My Room. My favorite moment is the D# minor chord in measure 55; the minor 9th interval between melody (F#) and 9th (E#) never fails to give me chills.
