The Vinery Progress
Added 2016-07-25 06:53:50 +0000 UTCI posted a few comments about the things I've been working on in The Vinery, but in case you missed those I've added trees to the earlier levels, reduced the enemy encounters, and added levels 9 and 10. Also, there's a new boss on level 10. There probably won't be many new "action sequence" styled bosses because they are so time intensive, so this one is turn based.
One reason I regretted releasing The Abyss so soon is because I decided to add new keys to the game. These are special keys that bosses will drop, and they'll allow access to some new areas. The problem? Well I only put one instance where the Dungeon key can be used, and you probably can't get there yet anyway.
This brings me back to The Vinery, as this boss will drop The Vinery key. I should probably focus a bit on adding some areas that require these keys. Probably at least 5 instances. We'll see. I'm not sure about what type of rewards should be behind these doors but I'm thinking maybe perfume bottles, gold, gems, life/magic essence, and a few of the more rare rewards like magic orbs and lantern upgrades. I could also stick a few quest items behind them. :) Speaking of which, there's that mask I still haven't placed anywhere...
