I just finished work on the boss fight in The Tower.
I think it's pretty much complete now.
It's so much fun that I decided he should be hit 12 times. :)
(yes, I know some people will hate me for this.. lol)
I had several ideas for what monster this boss should be, but
ultimately decided based on what sprites I have available (sprites
that I don't have to worry over about monetization issues).
If you're curious the boss is like Frankenstein's monster, but
overly infused with so much energy that it is more magic
than monster.
I might add a few more boss fights in The Caverns before I start
to heavily play test.
I forgot to add that I have added a new mechanic for some bosses.
You will see lit torches at the edges of the map. Every time you
hit a boss a torch will go out. This is to indicate that you're
doing something right. In the past some players were confused
as to whether they were actually damaging some bosses.
This should fix that.
