Comments

The pacing of the movie may seem odd but it perfectly portrays the man. The clown scenes are deliberate and insightful. The film reminds me of Natural Born Killers but Bronson is superior in every way. Hardy did an incredible job.

Tom Hardy did such a good job in this. I also enjoyed the move Legend where he played both Kray twins

Mark Parker

Do you have a timestamp?

bronson def has symptoms of a damaged childhood caused by someone of authority ,thats why he detests anyone who is in authority

Thanks for the info bud. That is wild man I will have to read up more on Robert Maudsley, and ask Tay if she has heard if him. She is into True Crime alot so she may have. His cell sounds super intense.

After Work Reactions

Oh ok thanks bud, I couldn't think of it for the life of me.

After Work Reactions

Oh wow that is wild, it is crazy to hear how famous inmates can sell their art work for so much money. Yea man once you get old you certainly start to chill out lol.

After Work Reactions

Real and rare footage of real Charles bronson doing that butter naked fight with prison guards surprisingly it's on yt https://youtu.be/HhSOpVWaFWE

- The guy in the mental hospital was what you thought and he was also a murderer. - The artwork is his. He's auctioned some of his work off to charity, usually to help children. - He covered himself in "warpaint" (vaseline, shampoo or anything he could) to make himself slippery so it was more difficult for the prison guards to grab hold of him. - I don't know if they still stand, but at one time he held a number of records for fitness (press-ups etc.) as he essentially had nothing else to do but exercise in solitary. - He's definitely caused hundreds of thousands in damage and the news footage was real. Robert Maudsley is a murderer who's killed more people in prison than he did out of it (3 vs 1). He's locked up in a specially constructed cell in the basement of the prison. His table and chair are made of cardboard, sink and toilet are bolted to the ground and he sleeps on a concrete slab. He's allowed out 1hr a day without any contact with other inmates. Why they didn't do something similar with Bronson I have no idea.

The Netflix show you were thinking of is Mindhunter. He's still alive and hoping to get released. He's 70 years old this year.

Keith Pratt

The art shown in the movie if im right yes that was his real artwork by Charles bronson his work sells for thousands now he just sold one 20 thousand in 2021 and yes he did get naked and fight prison guards he's pretty much like that compared to the movie but his pretty chill these days as he gets older still says crazy stuff but dosen't do half the stuff he used to

dubs

Stuart: a life backwards with hardy and cumberbatch is worth a watch too, also a true story

The broadmoor riot footage was real footage there's a full documentary about it all on YouTube definitely worth a watch josh

Tom Hardy's best performance so far, for me.

Great biopic film. The real life Michael "Charles Bronson" Peterson was eventually permitted to watch the film in prison and described it as "theatrical, creative and brilliant". Bronson also praised Tom Hardy for his portrayal of himself, stating "if I were to die in jail then at least I live on through Britain's No 1 actor", but he disagreed on the implied distance between himself and his father, as portrayed in the film.
