Imagine having to describe the plot to someone :) I prefer Bottom when it has tight plotting that forces the two of them into crazy circumstances and makes for brilliant gags and ridiculous situations; the constant innuendo was a bit too much of a crutch in this and it felt baggy, but I get why people love these shows too, because you see Rik and Ade just pissing about and making one another laugh. I love Rik Mayall - I'll watch him do anything. And the bit where Eddie uses a cricket bat to alternately tweak Ritchie into consciousness then twat him unconscious was very funny. I don't think anyone has ever done violent, physical comedy as brilliantly as these two. My dad used to do stand-up in the same club as them when they were The Dangerous Brothers and fell in love with them there. Young Ones next, then I'll stop asking for things on this channel.

Kidderminster is a city in England and it is a bit of a shithole (they make nice carpets though). My best friend was born and grew up there so he's never lived it down since Bottom has mentioned it being a name for a toilet!

I prefer this to the first one, partly because of the prison setting in Act 2, but also because they break character more often! :-D Eddie dying in his sleep "dreaming of an all-night wrestling session with the Cheltenham Ladies' Underwear Testing Team" always makes me smile. It's a reference to Cheltenham Ladies' College, and I smile because I live in Cheltenham - it's about a 20 minute walk from my home! :-D I did also walk past the theatre in Oxford where this was performed too just last week but now I'm just showing off! Haha! Oxford is about 40 miles from Cheltenham but then it is England where everything's quite near everything really - Americans must be amazed at how small we are! They say that in the UK 100 miles is a long way and in the USA 100 years is a long time... :-D Many references to specific UK culture go over your head in these reactions (understandably) but it was really cool to see you react to Eddie's Fawlty Towers impressions, something that could so easily have been a joke that meant nothing to you until last year! :-D I'm not as big a fan of Bottom Live 3 if I'm honest, but I'll still watch it again for your reaction! I have no doubt it'll be a winner in the next poll!
