This is one of the best episodes I think. Jim being pissed off is one of my favourite things, without a doubt. However, that being said, I think the Mambo no.5 episode makes me cry with laughter! Thank you Josh, for another great one! Can’t wait for tonight and tomorrow’s reactions! I keep rewatching the reactions of my favourites as they are so fantastic, and this episode is being added to those! Michael Crawford is the actor who plays the main character in Some Mothers Do Ave Em. You’d likely not get to react to that anytime soon given (surprisingly) how poor it does in your polls to be honest though!

Jim didn’t botch it, he was trying to get some brownie points with Barbara that’s why he wouldn’t look at Dave when Dave wondered what he was doing. I’m sure he would have been happy to go to the pub if she’d said yes but still…

I’ve seen a vid of you and Tay trying British sweets….so you get the Revels reference 🙂. When Nana was on about the Doctor being called Michael Crawford (as in “Ooohh Betty”) she’s referring to the old sitcom Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em (it’s been on your polls I think), the main character Frank Spencer is played by the actor Michael Crawford. Although very dated now, it’s still very funny if you like slapstick and chaos 😂. And “Tattoo” is an actual film, a low budget erotic thriller from the early 80s (it’s pretty bad!)

Josh Michael Crawford is the actor the plays a character called Frank Spencer in a show called Some Mothers Do Have 'em and his catchphrase is "ooohhh Betty" it's not necessary to know that for the joke, it's more about how mundane it is.
